This program is for members who do not have the educational background to go into the apprenticeship program. In the TWU Local 100 - NYCT Upward Advancement Program, members will be paid their weekly wages (40 hours) by TWU Local 100 - NYCT Training & Upgrading Fund while being released from duty on a full time basis to attend a trade school selected by the Fund for a period of six months. The Fund will provide opportunities for twenty (20) members to enter this program each year.
