Every year TUF offers civil service test prep courses for NYCT promotional titles. Decisions about which courses to offer depend on the number of members who have registered to take the exam.

Past test prep courses have been conducted for applicants for Train Operator, Tower Operator, Conductor, Transit Property Protection Agent, Bus Maintainer and Power Distribution Maintainer. TUF adds new courses every year.
